Le Punk Pinot Noir
Wine Label Design & Brand Identity
Branding and label design for Le Punk Pinot Noir, built to challenge traditional wine packaging through bold typography and a deliberately disruptive identity.
Most Pinot Noir brands lean on the same cues—heritage, restraint, and quiet elegance. Le Punk does the opposite.
It treats Pinot Noir as something that can carry attitude, not just tradition. Less reverence, more intent. Less storytelling, more presence. The ambition wasn’t to elevate the category, but to push against it—without losing commercial viability.

At its core, the project rejects the polite, overworked visual language that defines much of the category. It draws from punk as a mindset rather than a style—raw, direct, and unconcerned with approval.
The design is reduced to what matters. Typography carries the identity—blunt, slightly abrasive, and closer to something stamped than refined. There’s no illustration or decoration to soften it.
The layout holds just enough structure to function on shelf, but never enough to feel resolved. That tension—between control and disregard—is where the label sits.

Le Punk doesn’t try to belong. It interrupts.
Immediate, opinionated, and built for visibility, the result is a label that communicates instantly without asking for permission.
A Pinot Noir that doesn’t ask for permission—and doesn’t care if it gets it.
Need a wine label that actually stands out—or one that plays it safe? If you’re serious about your winery’s branding, let’s talk.
